ENP's Joint, Skin and Coat formula is a full-strength joint formula, comparable to Glucosamine Plus containing Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and MSM for joints, plus special nutrients for the bones and connective tissues while offering support for your dogs' coat and skin. Each dose contains 1,500mg of glucosamine when most other formulas only contain 500mg. Joint, Skin and Coat formula also contains a full-strength formula of special nutrients for the skin and coat. These include Biotin, Vitamin E, Choline, Inositol, and Essential Fatty Acids. Together, these nutrients promote healthy joints + a healthy shiny coat and supple skin. Most joint formulas address sore joints but neglect the tendons, ligaments, and bones. Without nutrients for these parts also, a formula is only addressing part of the problem. That means you might have to keep me at a higher dose of Glucosamine for longer, costing you more in supplements. Joint, Skin and Coat formula also contains vitamin E which has long been used to promote healthy skin, when combined with copper; it contributes to the skin’s elasticity. The B-Vitamin, Inositol, and Biotin are essential for many functions including healthy fur, skin, and energy levels. Copper aids in collagen and elastin production, essential for normal skin. Our formula is rounded out with Essential Fatty Acids for a healthy coat. Most dogs are started on a full dose, as indicated on the label. However, you can probably cut back to a lesser dose as your dog improves.
